We are seeking your feedback regarding a potential consolidation that would combine our current Pre-K–2 and grades 3-5 into one school. The current elementary school will become grades 6–8. The "new" primary elementary school was built for 800 students. Current enrollment in Pre-K-5 is 471 students. Current enrollment at the middle school is 184 students.
Your input is very important and will help guide future planning and decision-making.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey below. An informational session will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Wilkinson County High School Auditorium.
Thank you for your time and valuable feedback.

Thank you all for your hard work and commitment to literacy in Wilkinson Coumy!

Yesterday at WILCO STREAM Academy, our students didn't just read about the power of wind and water — they felt it! After exploring the book Wind and Water, students put their engineering skills to the test by designing and building their very own windmills.
Watching their creations spin was just the beginning — they're already thinking like scientists and engineers!

Update: Wilkinson County Schools will be closed today out of an abundance of caution due to weather conditions. Parent-teacher conferences scheduled for today will be rescheduled. Schools will share new dates soon.

Due to anticipated weather conditions during peak commute times on Monday morning, Wilkinson County Schools will operate on a delayed start for staff, with employees reporting at 10:00 a.m. Families who have spring conferences scheduled before 10 am may choose to reschedule by contacting the school’s main office. We appreciate your understanding as we take this precaution to support safe travel conditions for our staff.

We're excited to see the lessons and activities our wonderful students will enjoy this week. Today, Wilkinson County School Nutrition kicked off the celebration by saying Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! with their version of "Green Eggs and Ham!" Of course, the students rated it 10/10! 🎉

Way to go, Mathletes! You’ve proven that when you add effort and multiply determination, success is the answer! ➗✖️📚
A very special thank you to Mrs. Whipple and Ms. Cooper for their dedication, encouragement, and countless hours of coaching. Your leadership and commitment made this achievement possible! 💙📚

Families of STREAM I & STREAM II students are invited to join us for an evening of hands-on learning and creativity. Together, you’ll build, design, experiment, and problem-solve through interactive challenges that show how STREAM learning connects to real life.
This is a chance for students to lead the way while families explore right alongside them, learning, laughing, and creating together. We look forward to seeing our STREAM families there! 💙💛
