A clean lunchroom shows respect—for yourself, your friends, and your school. These students have demonstrated a high level of respect for their school by keeping their lunchroom clean! These students volunteered to wipe down the tables after lunch everyday last week! Not only did they make the tables gleam, they inspired other students to take part in keeping the lunchroom clean. Ms. L. Cooper’s 4th grade class has taken on the Media Center’s Million Word Count Reading Challenge—eradicating illiteracy one book, one page, one word at a time!

5th-grade students quietly take notes in social studies, from the board and by ear! Paying attention is key!
