Please join us for Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, March 20, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to connect with teachers, discuss student progress, and gain valuable resources to support your child’s success on the GA Milestones. This is an early release day. Today the WCMS Band attended the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) District 11 Large Group Performance Evaluations. The band had an excellent performance and received an overall Superior rating. 🎉

Our middle and high school ELA teachers and administrators are committed to student success! With the support of our District Instructional Support Specialists, they analyzed reading trend data across the state and explored the new ELA standards. These conversations help strengthen instruction and ensure our students are prepared for success.

WCMS celebrates Black History Month with program titled "Education is Freedom!" It was truly inspiring to see our students shine as they showcased their talents.

Mrs. Larkin's seventh and eighth-grade students are boosting their math fluency with a friendly competition of integer wars! It's a fun way to practice and sharpen their math skills—everyone wins!








Our eighth graders had an exciting day at Mercer University, rotating through four engaging STEM sessions, including two at the School of Medicine, one on the transformation of energy, and one in technology communications.
A huge thanks to LaTrina Howell, Central GYSTC coordinator, for partnering with our teachers to make this incredible learning experience possible me.
