Eighth graders are making the most of Increased Learning Time (ILT)! In ELA, they're strengthening their narrative writing skills, while in math, they're spiraling back to practice solving systems of equations algebraically. In Social Studies, they're tackling lessons in Progress Learning and in Science, they're mastering the differences between speed, velocity, and acceleration. It's the fourth quarter and we are committed to finishing the year strong at WCMS!

Hands-on learning at its best! #MathInAction #WCMSWarriors

WCMS celebrates Pi Day with a mathematics escape room that required students to race against the clock and other teams across our school to solve math problems! We finished the day with our annual pi your math teacher in the face contest! Thanks to our math department for planning an awesome event for students and staff!

Ms. May conferences with students to discuss their attendance, academics, and attitude. Students analyze their strengths and weaknesses and use that information to set goals.

Happy Pi Day!!! ♾️

Music isn't just notes and melodies for our band students. They're deep into studying and analyzing every tune they play. Mr. Chestnut guides them in evaluating their recent performance, helping each student find ways to grow together!
