Wilkinson County Elementary School has been named a 2026 Title I Reward School by the Georgia Department of Education.

Title I Reward Schools are among the top 5% of Title I schools in Georgia making the most progress in improving the performance of all students. The designation is based on a comparison of content mastery scores from the two most recent years of reported statewide assessment data.

The recognition builds on the academic growth WCES shared in its 2025 CCRPI results. The school reported a 9.2-point increase in overall Content Mastery, including gains of 11.37 points in Mathematics and 22.91 points in Science. WCES also earned a Progress score of 99.8, reflecting strong student growth compared with academically similar peers across Georgia.

Wilkinson County Schools congratulates Principal Graceanne Johnson and the entire WCES team.
